The Supreme Court ruled The Government can't limit Corporate"spending" in US elections
The Citizens United case opened the door to unfettered corporate campaign spending
Corporate Money will have even more influence in political campaigns thanks to the U.S. Supreme Court decision in the Citizens United v. the Federal Election Commission case.
The US Supreme Court decision to end limits on campaign spending by corporations is devastating to the public interest. Now more than ever, thanks a U.S. Supreme Court which supports Corporate Fascism thanks to the majority of Republican appointees, future elections will be won by the candidate most slavishly devoted to America's powerful corporate business interests or those who possess the most extreme wealth. Special interest groups will now spend even more aggressively to shape The Political Debate. In a not so shocking turn of events, a corporation donated over a million dollars to Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney and dissolved only four months after the donation was made. It is nothing more than a result of one of the worse Supreme Court decisions in recent memory.
The United States of America is living on borrowed money and is using the money to encourage slow economic growth. The Republican Party has no interest in helping rebuild the American economy. The "Tea" Party has no interest in helping those without jobs or the working poor. The Republican Leadership has admitted their goal is to ruin the economy, and thereby ruin The Obama presidency. Republicans are relying on the short-term memory of the average American voter in order for the GOP to come off as the "fiscally responsible" political party in The United States of America, which couldn't be further from the truth. 82% of The National Debt was created by 3 different Republican administrations. Republicans filibustered The Democratic attempt to do away with $21 billion in oil "subsidies" for big oil corporations. Every single Republican member of congress voted "NO" on the measure which would have eliminated Big Oil subsidies from The Government. While Americans struggle against Economic Crisis, Oil Corporations triumph at the pumps ~ And in The US Congress.

Republicans can't win on the "issues" and are becoming increasingly more desperate, so they resort to their usual despicable tactics to scare, intimidate, and confuse voters.
As Congress wrestles with how to get The Deficit under control, one big point of contention is whether spending cuts will need to be accompanied by an increase in taxes on wealthy individuals and multinational corporations in America. Corporations are are pushing for their tax rate to be reduced without reining in their "subsidies" or "tax-breaks". Ending the tax "breaks", subsidies and shelters in the corporate tax code will provide enough money to lower the rate several percentage points and still increase revenue. The Obama Administration is planning to propose a new set of cuts in the corporate tax rate hoping to strike a vein of "bipartisan" cooperation.
President Obama signed into law the most sweeping overhaul of financial regulations since the Great Depression, but The Republicans have started to rollback of Wall St. reform. Obama & Democratic allies argue a broad overhaul of The Health Care system is imperative for the nation's future.Meanwhile,Republicans continue to push their agenda of a harsh, unequal, less Democratic society in The United States of America.
As the Race to the Bottom Picks Up Speed, Are Americans Finally Fed-Up? Austerity Budgets are the Norm in State and Federal Budgets Across the Country, and while the Rich Get Richer, Everyone Else Suffers. The Federal & State Governments are cutting critical programs with austerity budgets that will weaken essential services and The American Economy even more.
It should be commonly observed, beginning circa 1981,during The Reagan Administration, the wealth of a tiny percentage of top-tier earners sky-rocketed, while The Wages of the vast majority of Americans went flat, thus sowing the seed of the eventual economic collapse in The United States of America. A lot of verbiage has been released about the Banker engineered financial implosion that brought about "The Great Recession". What has not been discussed is how a banking system based on a fiat digital currency could generate 1.64 Quadrillion dollars worth of financial vehicles known as "derivatives", and how these financial cluster bombs have eroded The American Way of life.

REPUBLICANS VOTE TO END MEDICARE
The Republicans want to destroy 'Government' run health insurance and 'force' Americans to 'buy' health care plans from 'private' insurance companies using financial assistance from The Government paid for by taxes. The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) has concluded a "private" health insurance plan covering the standardized benefit package would be more expensive than traditional Medicare. Both administrative costs ( which would include 'profits') and payment rates to providers are higher for private plans than for Medicare. So What, then, does the Republican plan accomplish ?
The United States Government & The Governments of its States see no problem with fourth graders doped up on Ritalin to create "appropriate behavior" in American children. Meanwhile, Drug companies, whose profits are much higher than all other industries, provide lavish compensation packages for their top executives, and spend more on advertising, marketing, and administration than they do on research and development. Pharmaceutical corporations are charging skyrocketing drug prices saying those prices are needed for research and development, but The Truth is high prices are much more associated with record-breaking profits and enormous compensation for top drug company executives. Pharmaceutical corporations are "paying off" Doctors to "lobby" the FDA on their behalf. Isn't it time Americans doped up on "legal" pharmaceuticals quit being dupes of the corporate state ? American reality is a corporate generated reality.
U.S. lawmakers urge The Food and Drug Administration to require lobbying groups to disclose their financial ties to major pharmaceutical companies.

EXPERTS AGREE: The Drug War Has Failed THE GREAT AMERICAN MARIJUANA CONSPIRACY

Why Pot Smokers were made into Criminals
Despite the draconian penalties of the Nixon-era Controlled Substances Act, and nearly a million arrests annually, marijuana has proven itself ineradicable, and has become a part of American culture. A 19-member commission, which included former U.N. Secretary General Kofi Annan, President Ronald Reagan's Secretary of State George Shultz, and Paul Volcker, a former chairman of The Federal Reserve, declared, "The Global War on drugs has failed, with devastating consequences for individuals and societies around The World".
Smoking "pot" has fewer hazardous effects on society than most "legal" Drugs in The United States. Meanwhile, The Government uses criminal penalties to prevent marijuana use for over 75 years, yet marijuana is used by over 25 million people annually. "Cannabis" is The Largest cash crop in The United States. A New Global Commission of experts argues governments should end the "criminalization" of drug use and legalize marijuana. Most Americans agree Marijuana does not deserve the "illicit drug" status it has been stuck with. The Citizens Against Government Waste released a study entitled Through the Looking Glass, a special report which says The Office of National Drug Control Policy is waste of government resources. The War on Drugs is a campaign of prohibition, foreign military aid and military intervention, being undertaken by The United States Government, with the assistance of participating countries, intended to both define and reduce the illegal drug trade. The Federal Government spends more than $17 billion per year fighting the "drug" war. While legalization, decriminalization, and the medical use of marijuana continue to be debated in terms of public health, lawmakers and policy analysts are increasingly touting the economic benefits of regulating and taxing weed, which The Office of National Drug Control Policy says is the most popular illegal drug in the U.S.
An economy overly reliant on the profits of the financial services sector and driven by resource-intensive industries saw real median household income decline by 0.6 percent during The Bush/Cheney Administration and the poverty rate increased by 1.2 percent.
Student Loan Industry "Bailout" a lesson in Corporate "Welfare"
The Federal Government has been providing financial institutions involved in the student loan business with a bailout projected to be over $100 billion.
Investment firms and hedge funds continue to try to hold out for more unjustified taxpayer-funded "bailouts".
