Republicans are scrambling for support to block Health Care reform.

 Floor debate began on a sweeping bill developed by House Democrats
which extends coverage to 96 % of Americans. The Bill includes a new public insurance plan which would pay providers and hospitals at rates negotiated by the health and human services secretary.
